Created by Damme Insect, this music is a true step in the unknown. Exploring deeper and deeper. How to define it...It is almost impossible to qualify something you never heard before. As Damme Insect put him himself: "i am black in all dimensions expanding abstract form. Feeding with everything seeding everything.I dont have a source i dont have an exit. I am here and everywhere." Romania.Starting to produce techno and trance music since 1991, he is one of the pioneers of electronic music in East Europe. In '95-'96 he started to produce Goa trance music and to organise small parties. Well known around the globe for his unique style and for his "full live" performances, ATMA is now one of the most promising talents in the scene. With more than 16 years of electronic music production, and hundreds of live performances on both: techno & trance scene, ATMA is no longer a new comer. With his long musical background and the experience of working other musical styles he developed a totally unique style of psychedelic trance music. His music it's a "new definition" to the "full on" genre and it takes psytrance music to a higher and more professional level. After the great succes of his first solo album “Beyond Good & Evil” released in 2006 at Geomagnetic.TV Rec (San Francisco/Usa), Atma is back in buisness with his new album "The Secrets Of Meditation" which will be released in 2008. Yab-Yum Peak Rec. - CH www.myspace.com/yabyumpeak Website: www.yab-yum.info Ajja & Gaspard, two musicians, two sets of creative energy, influenced by each other & fusing in a whole that is greater then the sum of its parts Gaspard has been DJing and organizing parties for 9 years. He started as DJ Throbbe and played with Psyberpunk Corp. Today, he is DJ Gaspard for his night-time psychedelic trance sets and DJ Equilibrium for his floating ambient mixes. Ajja has been a musician all his life. Growing up in the world-famous tattooing Leu family and travelling across the world, he never had a shortage creative drive. The commercialism of the Goa trance scene turned him off electronic music for a few years. In 1998 Gaspard came in for a tattoo in Ajjas shop and they became fast friends. During the next few years Gaspard helped refuel Ajjas love of trance by dragging him out to parties across Switzerland. Their first performance together, at the Psyberpunk Naturalp Festival in November 2002, consisted of Gaspards DJ set, live percussion & live fx by Ajja. Later that year, they toured Australian festivals - Outback Eclipse, Rainbow Serpent & Exodus.In the summer of 2003, Gaspard and Ajja in coll-aboration with Tanina Munchkina & musician Master Margherita created Peak Records - Switzerlands first psy-trance label! Performing together with the P.G.C (an organic-trance live-act of which Ajja is a founding member) through the summer of 2004, revealed high compatibility between Gaspard & Ajja ranging from very similar tastes in music to humour, partying & psychedelic philosophy. The next logical step was the formation of their own live act: Yab-Yum So Logic was bought, laptops were tuned up & they got down to business: Ajja bringing his knowledge of instruments and frequencies and Gaspard, a strong sense of dance-floor dynamics from his experience as a DJ & sound engineer. This combination produces a strong psychedelic dance oriented sound with musical sensitivity. The first tracks made by Yab-Yum got quickly released - Biochemical Possibilities on Peak Records and Dust Devil RMX on Dropout Productions. A good omen we think.  Vibracoustic Shaman Electro Rec. - CH www.myspace.com/vibracoustic Website: www.shamanelectro.com Vibracoustic is the psy trance project of swiss producers Manjit Jus & Lukas Hasler, also known as DJs ABN & Hashiva. The live-act was formed in late 2005 with the aim to bring a fresh, new psychedelic sound onto the swiss psytrance scene – music that would explore the many directions and emotions of the various psy styles. Within just a few months Vibracoustic begun to make a name for themselves in the swiss psy trance scene, with gigs all over the country and in Germany. The creative minds behind Vibracoustic come from international backgrounds and so the young producers felt the need to find a label with a broad worldy view to support them. In the early half of 2006 Vibracoustic was approached by the Bali-based label Shamanelectro (www.shamanelectro.com), a label known for its cutting-edge trance fashion,who were looking to expand beyond fashion into the full-on world of psy-trance. With a strong label backing them, the two young producers began preparing their debut album, “Dark Skies,” released in January 2007. Minimalistic tunes, groovie beats, and dark sopundscapes characterize the typical Vendetta sound. Live played soundscapes get mixed with minimal Tracks to produce a unique soundstrukture. Ever since i first attended psychedelic parties back in 1995, the music has put a spell on me and i wanted more and more. after being a guest to parties for several years, i was eager to start mixing those psychedelic tunes. In the meantime my collection of CDs and Vinyl grew, and i started DJing in 1998. Since Summer 2002 i am part of the label "Shiva Space Technology", where i make new designs and promote their music when i'm mixing. I always felt curious about producing my own music, so i started doing exactly that in August 2002. I produce my own music under the name "Posidon".  Milosz USP - CH www.myspace.com/uspdnb DJ Milosz began his mission to help humanity on its quest for freedom 26 years ago in communist Poland. 10 years later he moved to capitalist Switzerland and quickly realized that freedom does not depend on a certain set of rules but on the functionality of a system. Since then he's been using all available ressources to transform dysfunctional systems into functional ones (with more or less success). In 2006 in Portugal he got a glimpse of the transforming potential of full power trance music and decided to dedicate his energies to this way of living - as DJ, promotor, dancer and hopefully one day as a producer as well. Already as a young girl she used all her pocket money for buying records. Her first creative contact with vinyls was heating them in the oven creating a holder for the hippy records of her dad. During the years of adolescence she was open for different musical styles like heavy metal (Testament, Anthrax, …), punk (Berurier Noir, New Model Army, …), reggae or the good old sounds of the 60’s (Janis Joplin, Pink Floyd, Velvet Underground…). Music and dance have always been important to her. For 8 years she was doing classical (south) Indian dance, Bharata Natyam. Turning more and more to electronically influenced sounds (Young Gods, Orbital, The Orb, …), she got infected with the psychedelic virus during her first techno/trance party in 1993. After visiting many parties for some years, in 2002 she stepped behind the decks and mixer, bought her first psy and progressive trance vinyls. The mixing became her passion. For about four years she used to combine the DJing with organising psychedelic parties (and chaishops) together with the Maya Avatar project. Today independent, she preferably dedicates her dj sets to the darker gods of night, playing pushing tunes woven into a mystical atmosphere… Dark, strong, psychedelic, that’s how Meenakshi’s heart beats! She plays the sound that touches and moves her most – taking us on a spherical, fast but sensitive journey into the deepest of our inner self, making us never want to return… ;-) |
